The UCU Lady Cardinals squad set to compete in the Fufa Women’s Super league for this season has 17 players. The new squad includes new signings, which the team believes will work to their favour.
“The squad has not changed much and we know almost how each other plays and that is a good thing for us as a team,” said, Hasifa Nassuna, the team captain. “And the new signings the coach has added on the squad this season will provide a different dimension on how we play as a team, which is a good thing for us,” she added.
The players include;
- Goalkeepers; Ruth Aturo and Hadijah Nalongo
- Defenders; Shadia Nankya, Phoebe Banura, Annet Nakirijja, Cissy Nakate, Harriet Muwugumya, Mercy Nabulobi
