The last weekend of the month culminated into a great sports fest. The quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations took place, the Australian open came to its conclusion while the UCU Canons won another 3×3 tournament as their preparations continue for the University world cup in October. These are the moments of the week.

n 2017, when Hope Kyomugisha got admitted to Uganda Christian University (UCU), she was not sure how she would pay her tuition fees. With hope and a prayer, she made the trip to the university to pick up her admission letter.

This tournament has been one of the surprises, great goals, and great teams like Nigeria and the defending champions, Algeria have fallen while the “Elephants” fell during the last round, as Egypt squeezed through to the last eight.

Different students decide to dress up and design depending on the day and what they expect out of the day.
