The 2023 African Cup of Nations round of 16 matchups has been revealed after concluding the group stages.

The group stages of the ongoing tournament produced a number of entertaining games as well as shockers, and that is not yet to end.

Looking at the round of 16 matchups, the football fraternity is only blessed to have more thrilling action coming their way.

The hosts, Ivory Coast, needed Morocco to edge Zambia in a 1-0 victory for them to earn a spot in the last 16.

However, the road hardly looks rosy; after being thumped 4-0 by Equatorial Guinea, they will take on Senegal in the round of 16.

It will be such a big task for the hosts, who will be looking for a positive result in the clash against Senegal, as they have not yet tested a loss in the ongoing campaign.

The other big game will see Cameroon take on Nigeria. The Flying Eagles finished second in Group A and will lock horns with the Indomitable Lions, who finished second in Group B.

Group F leaders Morocco will lock in to upset South Africa, who have lost once, drawn once, and won once in the three-group games.

    Cape Verde vs. Mauritania
