The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda and Chancellor of Uganda Christian University (UCU), Rev. Dr. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, made his second pastoral visit to the university on June 14, which was coincidentally the first time he was actively participating in the UCU mission week.
He went ahead to encourage Christians to use this mission week to repent. He added that it is started in Romans 6:23, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Therefore, it is important to repent of sins.
The faculty also exhibited a rabbit-vegetable integrated urban garden system that is targeting urban farmers with limited space. The system harbors a rabbit cage and crates on the side, creating space for the growing of vegetables.
Public speaking has always been something that comes easily for Evelyn Mugisha. She has always wanted to be part of policy-making platforms and spaces that help her express herself.
