Uganda Christian University (UCU) emerged as the best exhibitor at the 14th  National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) Exhibition that was held at the UCU Mbale campus  on March 21–23, 2024. The exhibition was organized under the theme ‘Fostering Graduate Employability and Innovations’.

“After the death of her husband, this woman lost hope,” said Eceru, who graduated from Uganda Christian University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics Management. “She did not even have land where to grow food crops for her family.”

As the campus of Uganda Christian University (UCU) prepared for the February 14 to March 28, 2024, period of Lent, students and staff alike acknowledged the spiritual and academic benefits that this season offers. Lent, a 40-day period preceding Easter, holds deep meaning for many within the university community. 

According to the information obtained from the Ministry of Health, conjunctivitis is caused by viral infections, seasonal allergies, bacterial infections, and reactions to eye medication. It’s symptoms include redness in the white of the eye or inner eyelid, increased tears, thick yellow discharge over the eyelashes, itching, blurred vision, and sensitivity to light.
