More than 3000 university student athletes are set to arrive at the 12th edition of the University East African Games, slated for December 16th to 21st, 2022.
To make ends meet for her family, Candiru Zainab, studying at UCU’s Arua campus, taught at a nearby school, Najah Muslim Secondary School in the northern Uganda district of Arua. To have more chances of getting better-paying jobs, the mother of four children worked toward a Bachelor of Education degree, which she was awarded at the UCU main campus in Mukono on October 28. Candiru was among the 1,570 graduates that day.
We have all gone through grief at a certain point in our lives, be it the loss of a loved one, divorce, or the sudden end of a relationship, among others. This will require us to go in for counseling or therapy as a way to recover from this situation.

As the world marks World Aids Day celebrations, Uganda Christian University (UCU) has taken a step ahead by working together with Human Diagnostics Uganda Limited to sensitize students on how to prevent the spread of HIV. The event follows this year’s theme, “Know Your Status,” with celebrations of the day in Rukungiri.
Football has evolved over time to accommodate technology and make the game more interesting. Previously, the referee was the sole official of the game. However, the most recent game innovations include goal line technology, video assistant referee (VAR), and semi-automated offside technology linked to VAR.

Uganda Christian University (UCU) has officially launched its writing center, the first of its kind in any Ugandan higher institution of learning. Intended to improve the writing skills of both students and staff, as well as improve the collaboration between writers and tutors, the center, launched on October 10, 2022, is housed at the UCU Hamu Mukasa Library, Mukono.
