    Azania hold concert to raise Tuition for needy students

    A glamouring Friday night, yes it was! The Easter Semester‘s Grand Azania was held in the legendary Nkoyoyo Hall at Uganda Christian University (UCU). A strategy that the committee sought to raise tuition for the financially disadvantaged students from the audience. It invited student performers, well- wishing bands and guest performers from different places for this noble cause. Below was the night in pictures and Eriah Lule was there for the Standard. Captions Photo A1. Guest Performer Felix the Saxophonist threw a spectacular performance for the audience. Photo A2. Brian Muwanguzi, a bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality management student, blended traditional instrument “Adungu” and with the band, he drove the audience nuts. PhotoA3. Abigail and Mark was a spectacular student duo that threw a thriving performance in harmonies for the night. Photo A4. Honorable Ainamaani Junior the former Welfare Minister in the 23 rd Guild government and Njumba Allan held the collection box that passed through the audience. Photo A5. Students from the audience who stood a chance of winning, the Poetry book ‘Omuwala Sanyu’ at the stage.
