In a move to boost the academic profile of Uganda Christian University (UCU), the institution’s Directorate of Post Graduate Studies has introduced a special training to skill graduate students to be able to produce publication-worthy research.

The president of the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA), Yusuf Welonga, has advised students to explore other available avenues before thinking about strikes.

“The cookie clients introduced us to the food clients,” Julian said. She sells each plate of food at sh5,000 (about $1.3) and earns up to sh60,000 ($16.3) per day in net profit.

The visiting team of Hanze oriented students in the computer lab on the Peggy Noll block, where students were oriented and taught the best way to apply their classroom acquired knowledge and create projects for themselves. 

“I was bullied by not only the health workers but even by my fellow patients. This really hurt me so much. At that point, if I knew then how to abort, trust me, my baby wouldn’t see the light of the day today,” she said.
