According to sources, Praise’s resignation stemmed from his struggle to balance the demands of his guild office with his academic aspirations. Known for his commitment to loyalty, honesty, transparency, and integrity, Praise explained that the responsibilities of his office had made it difficult for him to achieve his academic goals, including his aim of graduating with first-class honours.

A month after The Standard reported about complaints over the service provided at different restaurants on the campus, students say they now see some improvements. Previously, the complaints included poor structure, leaking roofs,and shaking tables. However, a number said the recent upgrades at Touch of Class restaurant have made the place look and feel better. The improvements include the replacement of shaky tables with new long ones designed for comfort and repairs to previously leaking areas.
