Uganda Christian University (UCU) has selected four students to participate in a five-month academic exchange program at Hanze University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, strengthening its international academic partnerships.
In an era where social media is often flooded with short-lived trends and viral comedy skits, Ugandan content creator Mwesigwa Samuel, popularly known as Cophi Samuelz, is taking a different approach—one that fuses entertainment with cultural preservation and youth empowerment.
The victory marked a triumphant homecoming for UCU, which has now hosted the AUUS Games a record four times.
UCU Lady Canons registered a well-deserved 75-52 victory against Magic Stormers in the National Basketball League at Lugogo Arena on Wednesday evening.
Makerere University Business School (MUBS) registered a 1-0 victory against Bugema University on Tuesday evening.

“The run is aimed at creating awareness in homes, schools, towns, villages, and every other area about the evil domestic violence is,” Ssebudde said, adding, “In organizing the run, we are sending a clear message to the community that children who are the usual victims of domestic violence need protection.”
The first student-organized business expo at the Uganda Christian University (UCU) School of Business (SoB) was held at the university’s main campus from February 9-10.
