.The petition centres on the reinstatement of Elomaboni, who had previously been vetted out by both the School of Law Faculty Vetting Committee and the Joint Board Vetting Committee over concerns about the authenticity of his baptism and confirmation documents, key requirements for contesting the Guild Presidency under UCU regulations.
UCU Doves suffered a 3-1 defeat to defending champions Sport-S in the National Volleyball League fixture played on November 9, 2025, at the Sport-S Grounds, YES Center Nsambya.
The Angels began their campaign on Saturday, 8th November, with a 50–34 victory over Busia Lions at the Busia Greater Lions Netball Arena. Despite the long journey and tight scheduling, UCU displayed composure and control throughout the match to record a comfortable 16-goal win.

The game failed to go past the 34th minute due to the soggy playing ground that hardly allowed a ball to move freely. The situation forced officials to interrupt play and call off the game.
