Immediate past vice Chancellor Rev. Canon. Dr. John Musisi Ssenyonyi graced the mission week as the chief preacher on the Tuesday Community Worship in Nkoyoyo Hall at UCU main campus Mukono.

“Make decisions that will still stand with positive impacts as you walk through your education career at the University ‘’,he said.

Dr. Ssenyonyi preached about self -conduct to first year students who had just joined University and carrying out a self -check to the continuing students if they are still Christ centered.

“Prepare for junctions of life as you hold to Christ to be your supervisor and overall counsel to succeed in this life”, he added.

The Mission week was commended on Monday November 8, 2021 by the Chaplaincy office as a way of reviving the dried spiritual lives of Continuing and new students, who have been in the long holiday caused by the lock down.

With Volunteers from different parts of the Region, the chaplaincy has managed to preach to students hostels, on campus premises and even the outside community.

“This is a wonderful experience, saving lives for Christ, we treasure this great opportunity to us by the Chaplaincy,’’ said Ordinard Ben Odongo.

The event was attended by the Vice Chancellor Assoc.Professor Aaron Mushegyezi, members of staff and volunteers for the mission week.
