Director: Will Speck and Josh Gordon

Producer: Hutch Parker,Will Speck and Josh Gordon

Starring: Javier Bardem,Constance Wu,Winslow Fegley,Shawn Mendes and Brett Gelman

    Duration: 1 hour 46 mins

    Genre: Musical,Comedy

Will Speck and Josh Gordon directed Lyle Lyle Crocodile, which is based on Bernard Waber’s best-selling 1965 book series.

The film follows the Primm family as they relocate to New York City, but their young son, Josh (Winslow Fegley), struggles to adjust to his new surroundings, particularly school and making new friends. But everything changes when he meets Lyle (Shawn Mendes), a singing saltwater crocodile who lives in the attic and enjoys baths and good music.

The two quickly become friends, but an evil neighbor, Mr. Grumps (Brett Gelman), soon discovers Lyle and threatens his life. This forces the Primms to team up with Lyle’s charismatic owner, Hector P.Valenti (Javier Bardem), to show the world that family can come from the most unexpected places and that there’s nothing wrong with a big, singing crocodile with an even bigger personality.

The film had previously been adapted as an animated HBO special that was a musical. The film was shot in New York City in September 2021 and will be released on October 7, 2022.

The other cast members include Constance Wu as Mrs. Katie Primm,Lyric Hurd as Kara Delany, and Scoot McNairy as Mr. Joseph Primm.

After a long week of work, this is a great family movie to watch with the entire family, given that it is also a great family sequel to sit back, relax, and watch. Get a copy for yourself, or go to the movies and enjoy.
