Second on the list is “The Lost City,” a sci-fi adventure that made a stunning $105 million domestically. Seventh on the list is “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End,” the third installment in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. It grossed a staggering $139.8 million in its first weekend, setting a new record for the highest domestic gross.
