The ceremony was attended by the former UCU guild president Timothy Kadaga who appreciated the Congolese students for being united. “I like the way you are united. You portray teamwork and I pray that the new leadership takes the association to greater heights,” Kadaga said.

The President of the Congolese students’ association at St. Lawrence University in Kampala Alex Ndaye Balezi, who also graced the event commended UCUCSA’s outgoing leadership for the unity in the association.

The event was combined with celebrations of the 2021 International Women’s Day. UCUCSA’s Outgoing President Jean Mark Makoma wished the incoming team success during their tenure.
