    MUBS vs. UCU, 3 PM

Uganda Christian University (UCU) has made its plans clear for the ongoing University Football League.

With Makerere University Business School (MUBS) in their way, Isaac Ofoyirwoth revealed that they have prepared well and are fully pumped ahead of the game.

“We have prepared well coming into this game, and I believe we have all it takes to register a win against MUBS,” he stated.

“The team has been reinforced with more quality players this year, and you can see that we look much better than the previous edition,” he added.

“I believe we are a stronger team that should win the tie. Though it will not be easy because they are home, and we are aware of that.”

Ofoyirwoth acknowledges that the Cardinals have not been so good on the road, but that is something that they need to deal with as soon as possible.

“We have not been performing well on the road, and that’s a great concern that we have to deal with starting tomorrow. About our previous away game played against Makerere, we were disturbed by the weather and ended up playing the game for two days.”

“So as we go to Nakawa, we have only one target, and that is winning. We shall do everything it takes to ensure we get the win,” he concluded.

The UCU Cardinals will have a chance to go past the semifinals, something they failed to do last season. A victory away from home will give them a big boost since the two-legged tie will be concluded in Mukono.
