The Uganda Christian University (UCU) male and female football teams were defeated on Saturday, April 20, at UCU Grounds and Lugogo. The football teams known as the Cardinals lost both the FUFA Women’s Super League and the University Football League (UFL) final. The Lady Cardinals fell 2-1 to Kawempe in the FUFA Women’s Super League, and the Cardinals were defeated 3-1 by Nkumba University in the UFL final.
Our journey may have ended, but the fight and spirit of the Cardinals will forever soar,
