The UCU Lady Cardinals showed their fighting spirit in a jaw-dropping match against the Kampala Queens in the last round of the FUFA Women’s Super League.

The agile Otim was everywhere on the court with 17 points before Kayanga added 10 points to inspire the Canons to their fifth win in the seven games played thus far.

The UCU Cardinals will be looking for their second UFL trophy after beating St. Lawrence in 2019 at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

Uganda Christian University (UCU) emerged as the best exhibitor at the 14th  National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) Exhibition that was held at the UCU Mbale campus  on March 21–23, 2024. The exhibition was organized under the theme ‘Fostering Graduate Employability and Innovations’.

“After the death of her husband, this woman lost hope,” said Eceru, who graduated from Uganda Christian University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Procurement and Logistics Management. “She did not even have land where to grow food crops for her family.”

Unlike the previous season, the UCU Cardinals still have an opportunity to advance past the semifinals of the Pepsi University Football League (UFL).

Nkumba University now has a foot in the finals of the ongoing 2023–24 University Football League campaign.
