Former UCU Angel Haniisha Muhameed was named Man of the Match during her first start at Surrey Storm.

The goalkeeper switched from KCCA Netball Club to join Surrey Storm in the Vitality Netball Super League in England.

However, the toweringly versatile player had a great start to her story with Surrey Storm, as they easily went past Team Bath.

It was a long wait for Muhameed to get onto the floor since he made the move. Though the wait was worth it after impressing the electric crowd in the preseason game,.

The former UCU student had a stunning show at the recent Netball World Cup, where she was capable of playing as the goalkeeper and goalshooter.

The impressive run attracted the English, who made the necessary effort to get hold of her signature.

For starters, on the same team is another UCU alumni in Peace Proscovia who has greatly excelled on the international stage.

While Muhammed was at UCU, she graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism and Communication degree.

Muhammed, we continue to wish you the best as you continue to represent the gallant Uganda Christian University.
