In a pulsating volleyball game, the UCU Doves demolished Kampala University, winning all three sets in today’s opener. The two sides took themselves toe to toe through the first quarter and were separated by a two-point margin by the end of the quarter, which the Doves cliched at 26 to 24 points.

The Bishop Stuart University netball team has today suffered a fourth straight loss at the hands of Gulu University, who ran amok, putting 116 points past BSU. The Mbarara-based side managed to garner a mere 62 points. This left a staggering margin of 52 points.

n a scintillating game of play, UCU’s Kazibwe Solomon Trevor managed to see off the opposition of Kyambogo’s Lukoda Fahad. He won both sets, 6 to 1 and 6 to 4, respectively.

In a display of sheer dominance, Nkumba University’s netball team continued its winning streak, securing a triumphant victory over Mountain of the Moon University in a recent tournament clash. The Kabororo-based Nkumba team showcased their prowess on the court, clinching their third consecutive win by defeating their opponents 49-13.

The entertaining duel pulled a great local crowd that was yearning to take a look at young talents who were playing the beautiful game.
