Life, as we know it, is never a straight path. When Kivuna was in senior two, his parents had financial constraints and were unable to support him. His aunt stepped in and took care of him for one year. It is because of this that he decided to always give to those in need, even if he didn’t have much to give.

Uganda Christian University (UCU) has retained the National Council for Higher Education Exhibition award for the fourth consecutive time. This comes after a three-day exhibition contest at the UMA show grounds, which attracted over 80 exhibitors.

In order to boost collaboration, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi, and the Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC) Finance and Administration, Mr. David Mugawe, met with the DVC Academic Affairs, Prof. Ismael Mbisa, and the DVC for Administration, Prof. Faustin Mahali of Tumaini University Makumira in Arusha, Tanzania.

In the midst of holding a job and raising a family, many a post-graduate student struggles with a blank computer screen destined for the required research paper. Filling that screen in a language – English – that isn’t a first language is an added obstacle for master’s and doctoral students at Uganda Christian University (UCU).

Led by the guild president, Rachel Sserwadda, a group of over sixty students and guild officials left Mukono for Rwambogo Refugees Camp in Kakira, Jinja district, for yet another charity outreach. This outreach targeted over 150 children between the ages of 5 and 14.

Owen Masembe, the Guild President of UCU Kampala Campus, welcomed the idea of the gala, noting that oftentimes, students focus only on studies, forgetting about the physical aspects of their lives.
