The 23rd Guild Government of the Uganda Christian University (UCU) has handed over the office to its successors. Outgoing Guild President Agaba Kenneth Amponda handed over a file and other instruments of power, including the stamp of the Office of the UCU Guild President, to the in-coming Guild President, Racheal Sserwadda. On November 24, 2021, Sserwadda was voted into office in a virtual election.

You definitely know X!’ My colleague pushed hard in a bid to help me recall a person he expected me to know. On insisting that no matter how hard he tried I simply could not picture the person he was talking about, the description turned to the person’s likes. Quite often than not, I have heard people describe others by what they like or subscribe to. You probably have encountered lines like….so and so who likes African print, singing etc.

Racheal Mirembe Sserwadda’s victory to become Uganda Christian University’s (UCU) 24th Guild President was not a surprise to those who know her. The third-year student of Bachelor of Laws has been a school leader since her early primary days.

oss John Bruce, an alumnus of Uganda Christian University (UCU), has been elected the Guild President of Uganda’s Law Development Centre (LDC). In the elections held on November 8, Bruce garnered 69% of the votes cast, beating off a challenge from Mubarak Kalungi, who polled 31% of the votes.
