UCU Main Campus is set to go to the polls this Thursday, November 13, 2025, to elect leaders for its 28th Guild Government. The Electoral Commission (EC), chaired by Aggrey Kwajje Asunta, issued a detailed roadmap.
My leadership style is a combination of two approaches; the transformational where by at the end of the day we have to transform our society to develop our standards of living. The second one is democracy where everyone should be considered when making decisions.
We want to develop and restructure clubs and associations. Secondly, we want to talk about security and provide a solution to it. We want to light up different places. The way through it is to work with the hostel owners association to actually contribute to the lights themselves.
She hopes to gain experience in leadership, working with people, making friends and connections, and being part of an arm that has a duty to help the student community during her time in the guild government.

Harry Mukhooli recently found himself in such a situation. Mukhooli, the new Guild President of Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mbale campus in eastern Uganda, said he isolated himself from people the entire day as he waited for the results.
“My father did not study his dream course — law — unlike his brothers,” Baitwa said. “And that saddened him. Someone, however, told him that if he got a son one day, he could live his dream in his son.” Baitwa’s father, Enoch Tumusiime Baitwa, instead studied a certificate course in veterinary medicine.
