The games continue with the aim of producing two finalists to give fans and supporters a repeat of last edition’s final between the School of Law and the Faculty of Agriculture.
Simon Arike, the captain of the School of Social Sciences, netted a hat-trick, taking his goal tally to four goals in two matches. Robinson Obwana, Titus Musinguzi and Diego Mugambwa, the only representative from the School of Journalism, Media and Communication, also registered their names on the scoresheet.
The news was announced on different fora on social media including the UCU Students Guild X platform.
Nuwahereza added that the bazaar also helps the university strengthen its connection with the surrounding community. “By inviting various companies to participate, UCU builds its brand and extends its influence beyond campus borders, fostering strong community ties,” he noted.
A total of 320 graduates from Uganda Christian University’s (UCU) School of Law have been denied admission to the Law Development Centre (LDC) for the upcoming intake. This exclusion poses a significant setback for these aspiring lawyers, as one cannot become a court advocate in Uganda without passing the LDC bar course.

Tragedy struck Yesu Mulunji Hostel when the lifeless body of Lillian Kampi, a second year nursing student (BNS2) at Uganda Christian University, was found in her room on September 9. Kampi’s body was discovered after fellow hostel residents reported a foul smell emanating from her room, prompting the management to break in and investigate.
In a ceremony held last week on 6 September Uganda Christian University’s (UCU) Vice Chancellor, Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi and the UCU top officials,officially handed over the new School of Journalism faculty building to the Dean of the School of Journalism, Prof. Monica Chibita.
