The last weekend of the month culminated into a great sports fest. The quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations took place, the Australian open came to its conclusion while the UCU Canons won another 3×3 tournament as their preparations continue for the University world cup in October. These are the moments of the week.

At least 15 students of Uganda Christian University (UCU) have graduated from Millenium Fellowship, a semester-long Leadership Programme that advances the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Majority of the graduates, at the virtual graduation ceremony held on Wednesday, 17 November 2021, were female.

Uganda Christian University (UCU) has won the first virtual National Council for Higher Education Exhibition. This comes after a three-day online exhibition contest, held from 10-12 November 2021, which attracted over 50 exhibitors.

With the Guild elections edging closer, the political atmosphere at Uganda Christian University is intensifying with each passing day. Particularly, the fight for Guild President is steep as it has shaped into a battle between a lady and a gentleman.

The biggest challenge people who contract Covid-19 have to deal with is trauma. Trauma from stigma as well as from the sad stories about the deaths and the suffering that people go through. The case was not any different for me.
