The draws for the 20th Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS) Games 2025 have been released, with five sports disciplines considered for both the men’s and women’s categories.

Among the sports disciplines considered in today’s draw, which took place at AUUS headquarters, located at BaLintuma Road, Mengo, Kampala, are basketball, football, volleyball, handball, and netball for both men’s and women’s categories.

The games, whose draws happened under the supervision of the Technical Vice President of AUUS, Samuel David Lukaire, who is also the Head of the Sports Department at Uganda Christian University (UCU) start on December 18th with the arrival and registration of teams and will end on December 23rd.

Draws for other games will be held on 18th December, as the majority of them are individual events. Teams with swimmers and athletes have been urged to submit their participants per event to enable coordinators to formulate start lists.

UCU is the first institution in Uganda to host the AUUS Games four times, having previously hosted in 2007, 2013, and 2023.
