    Top selling movies of 2022

    It has been another remarkable year at the box office for 2022. From the smash hit “Smile” to the surprise hit “The Lost City,” moviegoers have been flocking to theaters around the globe. Let’s take a look at the top ten highest-grossing movies of the year!

    First up is “Smile,” a feel-good comedy that made an impressive $156 million in the US alone. With its all-star cast of beloved actors and its charming story, “Smile” has become a fan favorite. Its success has been attributed to its relatable characters, light-hearted humor, and heart-warming moments.

    Second on the list is “The Lost City,” a sci-fi adventure that made a stunning $105 million domestically. The movie follows a group of explorers as they attempt to find a mythical city in the depths of a mysterious jungle. With its thrilling action sequences and stunning visuals, “The Lost City” has become a must-see for science fiction fans.

    In third place, we have “Avengers: Endgame,” the latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It blew past expectations, earning a staggering $858 million in the US alone. It also broke the record for the highest-grossing movie of all time, surpassing the previous record holder, “Avatar.”

    Fourth on the list is “Jurassic Park,” the classic dinosaur adventure that has been delighting audiences since its release in 1993. Despite its age, “Jurassic Park” still managed to rake in an impressive $402 million at the box office in 2022.

    Fifth place goes to “Chadwick Boseman’s Superhero Movie,” a critically acclaimed story about grief and redemption. It made a remarkable $401 million in the US and has been praised for its powerful story and stellar acting performances.

    Sixth on the list is “Top Gun: Maverick,” the long-awaited sequel to the classic 1986 action movie. It was a huge hit, earning an impressive $156 million in its opening weekend and going on to make a total of $300 million worldwide.

    Seventh on the list is “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End,” the third installment in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. It grossed a staggering $139.8 million in its first weekend, setting a new record for the highest domestic gross.
