Two UCU Cardinals coaches, Jimmy Kintu and Magoba, are participating in the prestigious CAF A Diploma Coaching Course, which resumed on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru. The course, facilitated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), is aimed at equipping coaches with advanced skills in management, leadership, and game analysis.
The second module of the course, which spans five days, includes sessions on managing player challenges, analysing video footage, and improving overall team performance.
FUFA’s Capacity Building Human Resource Manager and CAF instructor, Jackson Nyiima, highlighted the importance of these elements in the course’s progression.
“We are focusing on what management and leadership is all about and how coaches can help players handle the problems they face during games,” said Nyiima while speaking to FUFA Media
“We’ll also take the coaches through video analysis, with all training sessions recorded for review.”
Kintu and Magoba’s participation in the course comes just days before UCU hosts St. Lawrence University on September 17, 2024, in the highly anticipated University Football League fixture.
