    What next after graduation?

Campus Talk With Sulphine Mbambu Bonabana

After the excitement of graduating and relief of completing their courses successfully, the graduates have to think about what their next step is. We spoke to some of them to tell us their future plans.

As other people are planning to further their studies, I basically have to go in the field and apply what I have been taught in class, make my skills better. The only way that makes you better out there is practice. The degree might be there but if the skills are not there, it becomes difficult.

    Chrispine Andeku, BSIT

I want to start working on hair oils as my source of income for now. Then I am also sending applications to different media houses to check out which one would be better for me career wise, something that can challenge me, not just any media house.

    Sarah Birungi, BAJC

It has been a struggle, three years down the road. The picture is not clear yet but am hopeful for what is coming my way.

    Isaac Mukiza, SWASA

Graduating has always been something I couldn’t wait to achieve and I am happy I have achieved it. I’m hoping to do a masters in international relations. I want to become a consulate

    Joyce Nakalema, BGIR

I have been doing information technology and I’m so excited that I have graduated. By the grace of God, all roads now lead to me doing a masters.

    Joshana Amuso BSIT

I’m happy am done reading books for now because it has not really been easy but God has been there for me. I’m hoping to become a self employed billionaire. I also hope to rule this country some day in a certain sector.

    Lynn Grace Nkwasibwe, SWASA

I’m looking forward to career growth opportunities and being an authority in a certain field that I am still discovering, to know my interests. Basically I am trying my best to grow my career. It is tough but doable.

    Aldrine Adson Aine, BAJC
