Subject: Alarming disrespect among student
Sir/ Madam
Earlier this week as I was coming to campus something interesting caught my attention.
Due to security reasons, identification is paramount for any institution or organization. The same goes for UCU. But there was this one student who seemed very unaware of such a rule. His behavior was unbecoming I must say. For an institution that has strong Christian values, it was unusual to see a student act that way.
He didn’t have any form of identification as a student of UCU, so the security personnel explained that no one is allowed to access the university premises without identification. This student started yelling that he wasn’t leaving, that he would stay there and if they wanted to involve the higher authority and suspend him then they should go ahead.
I was shocked by such high level disrespect. Students these days have forgotten how to be humane.
