The visit started with the Archbishop meeting with the UCU cabinet at 3pm just an hour after his arrival at the university premises. A meeting with the UCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC) for Academics , Reverend Dr. John Kitayimbwa, the DVC for administration and Finance, Mr. David Mugawe, the university lawyer, among others, has been scheduled for 4pm today to discuss UCU Holdings Limited, a business subsidiary of the university.

Today’s activities will crowned with a dinner with the Bishop Tucker School of Divinity and Theology (BTSDT) along with a few members of the UCU community.

The visit continues tomorrow with the Archbishop’s meeting, for the first time, with student leaders at 9am, then with Deans and Directors of different faculties and departments at midday.

The pastoral visit will be concluded with a meeting between the Archbishop and members of staff at the UCU Kampala campus.
