Social media serves as an extension of our CVs, reflecting not only our professional accomplishments but also our values, behaviour, and personality. In today’s competitive job market, employers increasingly use social media as a supplementary screening tool. And so what we choose to share can either bolster our credibility or undermine it entirely. It is essential to curate our online presence deliberately, ensuring that our posts align with our aspirations and how we wish to be perceived by others.

Uganda Christian University (UCU) is mourning the tragic loss of two of its students, Lillian Kampi and Joanne Mirana Wanyana, whose untimely deaths in early September have left the university community in shock and grief. Kampi, a second-year Bachelor of Nursing Science student, was found dead in her hostel room on September 9, while Wanyana, a second-year Bachelor of Science in Data Science Analytics student, passed away in a hospital just five days later on September 14. The exact cause of Kampi’s death remains unknown, as the post-mortem report has not yet been released.
The ruling, delivered on September 29, found that Nassozi’s accountability for the funds was insufficient. The tribunal court ruled that her allowances should be attached to the University account until further notice. It also stated that Nassozi refunds what she failed to account for.
