The exam season in any school is usually a tense period, with all students doing last-minute checks on their notes to ensure they have grasped everything they consider important to enable them pass. Pauline Luba talked to some students at the end of exams just before Uganda Christian University closed for the Christmas holidays. In today’s mouthwatering clash of the titans, the Uganda Christian University (UCU) Cardinals swept past a frail-looking Makerere University Business School (MUBS) team to win all three basketball sets of their semifinal encounter.

In a heated clash at the volleyball court, the Uganda Christian University (UCU) Doves soared to victory against a struggling Kampala International University (KIU) side, securing three sets in a compelling showdown that unfolded this afternoon. Despite facing a setback in losing a set for the first time in the tournament, the Doves outclassed KIU, clinching a decisive 3-1 victory and earning a well-deserved spot in the final.

The combined efforts of their talented swimmers propelled them to victory in the Association of Uganda University Sports (AUUS) Swimming Championships, which concluded yesterday, December 19, 2023.
