    Dear Editor

I seek to bring to your notice that low self-esteem has become  very in our society.

Self- esteem is one’s own worth”. This quote is facing a serious threat as many people are marching towards  low self-esteem .

Low self-esteem is a serious issue, which takes away people’s confidence . A large number of people have faced mistrust in themselves and this has caused people to lack self-esteem. When you have low self-esteem, you put little value on your opinions and ideas.

Fore stance, in most cases low self-esteem is caused by  an unhappy childhood where parents and teachers were extremely critical about poor performance in school, resulting to lack of confidence in a child hence affecting his/ her adulthood.

Therefore, Self-esteem should be everyone’s overall goal , when you have a high self-esteem, you feel good about yourself and see yourself as deserving the respect of others.
