UCU Cardinals signed off their 2025–26 Pepsi University Football League (UFL) campaign with a 2–1 victory over Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) at the UCU Main Pitch.
The 2025-26 Pepsi University Football League resumes this weekend, and the UCU Cardinals have strengthened their attack with two new forwards as they push for a place in the knockout phase.
FUFA Women Elite League starts on February 28, 2026, with teams from across the country set to compete for promotion and pride. Uganda Christian University Lady Cardinals will open their campaign away to Gold Star Women Football Club at Bukedea Amus Stadium at 4 pm.
At this point in the competition, there will be two legs instead of the single game that was played in the rounds of 32, 16, and quarterfinals.
UCU Cardinals captain Goefrey Gaganga was the star of the day scooping two individual awards before he was also named in the UFL team of the 2023/24 season.
