“Integrity is one of the most important qualities for a tax professional,” Nanziri emphasised.
A total of 10 countries were represented during this week’s activities including Tanzania, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, South Sudan, Eritrea, Liberia, Germany, Nigeria and Malawi.
Combined School of Social Sciences and SJMC team defeated FEDT 2-0 to win the UCU Inter-Faculty Games 2026 title. Goals from Diego Mugambwa and tournament top scorer Simon Arike capped a disciplined performance built on tactical execution and resilient defending.

The UCU Lady Canons, last season’s runners-up, will open their campaign on Sunday, March 23, against Miracle Ravens at Lugogo Indoor Stadium. Their first home game at UCU-Mukono will be on Saturday, April 5, against Nabisunsa.

Uganda Christian University (UCU) Easter Semester Guild Bazaar officially kicked off on January 27, 2025. Traditionally, the bazaar takes place in the second week of the semester, but this time, it was delayed.
