UCU Lady Cardinals gaffer Collines Ahumuza is one of the 24 participants taking part in the ongoing CAF B Diploma Coaching course at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

The course started last year but resumed this week as the participants took part in the third module.

The third module of the course is being led by instructors Douglas Bamweyana and Jackson Nyiima, who are holding both theoretical and practical sessions.

The coaches are expected to go through football fitness aerobic training for endurance with the ball, basic treatment of injuries, basic injury prevention, fitness programmes, football fitness, emotional development, handling stress, muscle training, and training drills, among others.

One of the instructors, Bamweyana, told the FUFA website that the participants have exhibited a good attitude and are willing to unlearn so as to learn new things.

“We are here for the third module of the CAF B Diploma Coaching Course, and the participants are undergoing both theory and practical sessions,” he said.

“Most importantly, the coaches’ attitude is good, as they are willing to learn through discussions, sharing, and interactions,” he added.

The ongoing module is expected to run until Friday, January 12, 2024.
