    Wakiso Hill v. Uganda Martyrs

    Kampala Queens vs. Asubo Ladies

    Sunday

    Makerere v. UCU

    She Maroons vs. Rines, Luzira

    Lady Doves vs. Kawempe

FUFA Women’s Super League, UCU will seek to correct their mistakes after losing at home against the She Maroons as they visit Makerere University this Sunday at 10 a.m.

The Mukono-based team stunned She Mak in the first round with Sarah Abonyo’s goal in the final minutes at UCU Grounds, sending the hosts into the drop zone. However, UCU will be without young midfielder Mercy Amoding, who sustained a knock.

Elsewhere, reigning champions the Kampala Queens (KQ) will be hoping to maintain their perfect start in the league when they face Asubo Ladies at MTN Omondi Stadium over the weekend.

KQ are second on the table, with just one point separating them from table leader Kawempe Muslim.

In another match, Visitors Kawempe Muslim will rely on midfielder Agnes Nabukenya to lead their attack if they are to win against the Lady Doves.

Nabukenya is now the leading scorer, with seven goals.

She has scored vital goals, including one against Uganda Martyrs Lubaga, which kept them at the top of the standings. Visitors Kawempe Muslim won the first round of this match with three goals.

Meanwhile, Coach Peter Ocuka’s She Maroons will play seventh-place Rines in Luzira to keep their title hopes alive.

The Maroons overcame UCU in their first game after the league resumed to keep third place in the standings, while Rines defeated the Lady Doves thanks to a Justine Ayerango strike.

Rines SS defeated Ocuka’s side 2-1 at Kabaka Kyabaggu in January; they came into this fixture with just two points above the drop zone.

Both teams did not win their games last weekend, with Makerere earning a point against Asubo Ladies and the latter falling at home to the She Maroons.

Rogers Nkugwa’s side will be hosting the Uganda Martyrs at 10 a.m. in Kitende, seeking a win to revive their chances of staying in the league. Wakiso Hill has won one game this season and drawn two draws, while Uganda Martyrs have garnered three wins to keep them sixth on the table. All matches will be played at 10 a.m.
