Lady Cardinals on the road as they look to extend winning run

The Uganda Christian University (UCU) Lady Cardinals are on the road this weekend as they look to extend their winning run against the Lady Doves in the Women’s Top Flight League.

The Mukono-based side heads to Masindi looking to make it three wins in a row after wins against Makerere University and Olila High School last week.

They are looking to consolidate second place on the table and will rely heavily on Ashiat Nalugwa, who has been instrumental in scoring seven goals in eight games this season.

According to head coach Collines Ahumuza, the team is on a mission to win all three points and improve every day.

“We are going to try and get all three points and will try to improve defensively as well,”  he says.

Lady Doves will also be looking to rebound at home after losing to Uganda Martyrs away last week.
