    UCU Doves triumph over Ndejje Sharks

    UCU Doves secured a 3-1 win against Ndejje Sharks in a heated university derby. The game was played at Lugogo Indoor Arena on 26th January. 

    This match marked the start of the second round for the UCU Doves in the National Volleyball League.

    The Doves started strongly. They dominated the first set, winning 25-21. Their teamwork and defence were on point.

    In the second set, UCU kept up their momentum. They stayed ahead and won 25-19. The Sharks struggled to break through the Doves’ defence.

    Ndejje bounced back in the third set. They improved their attacks and took the set 25-20. This showed their determination to fight back.

    The fourth set was decisive. Both teams played with high energy. UCU maintained their focus and composure. They closed the set 25-21, sealing the victory.

    After placing fifth in the first round, the victory is vital for the Doves because it increases their chances of qualifying for this season’s playoffs.
