“Increasing concentration of greenhouse gases as a result of human activities is intensifying the greenhouse effect and contributing to global warming and climate change,” explained Dr Namirembe.
“As a result of this gala, we have all been brought together,” he said, calling for similar activities to be extended to other UCU campuses.
We need to bring together business, technology and the skills that you already possess. We should also incorporate techniques that make effective use of ICT tools to improve training, service delivery and communication,” Prof Mushengyezi added.

Uganda Christian University has flagged off 250 athletes set to represent the institution at the 20th Association of Ugandan University Sports Games. The flag-off event was held at the Bishop Tucker Building, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi and the Local Organising Committee.
Hannah Mwagale, who was crowned Best Radio Presenter, described the moment as deeply emotional and affirming. She credited weeks of intense preparation and teamwork for her success.
