    Match Day 11

UCU Lady Cardinals 1-1 Kampala Queens.

    Other Games:

    Rines SS 1-1 Makerere

    Asubo 2-3 Wakiso Hill

    Uganda Martyrs 2-1 Doves

The UCU Lady Cardinals showed their fighting spirit in a jaw-dropping match against the Kampala Queens in the last round of the FUFA Women’s Super League.

The match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, demonstrated the team’s commitment and tactical ability.

The game started on a high note for the Lady Cardinals as Jovia Nakagolo found the back of the net in the 4th minute, giving the girls an early lead.

Nakagolo’s goal was a brilliant execution of skill and alertness, sending the UCU fans into celebration.

However, the celebration was short-lived as Kampala Queens’ Catherine Nagadya equalized in the 13th minute.

Despite the setback, the Lady Cardinals maintained their composure and continued to press forward, creating several chances throughout the match.

“The players gave it their best; it was a fantastic encounter against a good team. This will help us work on fixing where we relaxed a little tactically and technically as we focus on the next game against Wakiso Hill,” stated UCU assistant coach Asiimwe Simon.

UCU Lady Cardinals will be back in action on April 6th in Kitende, visiting Wakiso Hills Women Football Club.

Wakiso Hill secured their second win of the season in a thrilling encounter against Asubo Gafford, edging them out with a 3-2 victory.

This win could be a turning point for Wakiso Hill, signaling a potential shift in momentum for them ahead of the fixture against the UCU Lady Cardinals.
