Uganda Christian University’s women’s volleyball team, the UCU Lady Doves, kept their strong second-round momentum with a commanding 3-0 win over Seroma Doves on February 7, 2026, at Lugogo Indoor Arena in the National Volleyball League (NVL).

The Lady Doves set the tone early. They controlled the first set with steady serving and clean reception, taking it 25-17.

Seroma responded with more fight in the second set and briefly matched UCU’s intensity, but the Lady Doves stayed composed and finished the set 25-20.

In the third set, UCU raised the pressure. Their attack moved faster, and their block forced Seroma into repeated mistakes. The Lady Doves closed the set 25-11 to seal the sweep and record their third straight win of the second round.

Coach Juma Osunge said the team’s growing confidence and discipline have shaped their recent results.

The Lady Doves opened the round with a 3-0 win over Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club. They followed that performance with a 3-1 victory against Kampala University. The run has strengthened their push for a stronger finish as the league heads toward its decisive stage.
