Uganda Christian University (UCU) has recognized outstanding members of staff at its Annual Staff Excellence Awards, celebrating individuals whose work continues to advance the institution’s vision of being a Centre of Excellence in the heart of Africa.

UCU Mbale University College has established a fully equipped science laboratory. Currently in the final building stages, the facility is expected to boost the teaching and learning of biology, chemistry, and physics subjects  that have long been hindered by limited resources.

UCU is set to hold its first-ever university-wide Tuition Fundraising Run, and seeks to raise at least Shs500 million to support financially struggling students. The event, scheduled for October, will bring together all UCU campuses and colleges, stakeholders, and partners in a joint effort to ease the burden of tuition for students in need.
