Theology Hold Law to a goalless draw

The School of Theology held last year’s finalists, the School of Law, to a goalless draw as the race for qualification to the knockout stage of the Uganda Christian University Inter-Faculty Games 2026 continues.

Theology came into the match after a 6-2 defeat to the School of Social Sciences in their previous game. This time, they looked more organised and disciplined as they earned a point in the match played at the UCU Mukono Campus main pitch.

Theology goalkeeper David Mugoda delivered a strong performance, making several saves to deny Law’s attack led by Jimmy Ladu and Alvin Oketch.

The result leaves the School of Social Sciences top of Group A with four points from two games. The School of Law sits second with two points, while Theology has one point and a goal difference of minus four.

The School of Law now waits for the remaining group stage matches to determine whether they advance to the knockout phase.

Games in different sports disciplines continue across the university, with the football finals scheduled for May 30 at UCU Mukono Campus.
