The Uganda Christian University (UCU) school of social sciences football team has eliminated the UCU Faculty of Agricultural sciences football team from the interfaculty tournament.

Vincent Kisenyi, the dean of the School of Business, was asked by the university administration to move the school to Ankrah. He expressed his gratitude that the school would have enough space to house all the activities of the school.

Uganda Christian University (UCU) students, under “Men of Purpose,” have been advised to make the most of their youth by making economic advancements and positioning themselves for employment opportunities.

In 2021, Joseph Mukaawa lost his father to COVID-19. When he came back from the burial, he started developing signs of COVID-19 and tested positive. “I thought that since I was young, I could overcome it. So, I started self-medicating,” he said. 

The School of Law Football team was eliminated from the Interfaculty tournament yesterday by their bitter rivals, the Faculty of Engineering, Design, and Technology.

Winning the Uganda Christian University (UCU) Kampala campus guild presidency did not come as a surprise to Zedekkia Ssekyonda. The fourth-year student in the School of Medicine (SoM) has had a history of leadership.

Surprisingly, he does not bemoan himself for doing anything in his private and academic journey, given the kind of support that the university fraternity provides to him in any way necessary.

On September 29, 2021, Nathanael Simbilyabo traveled from Nyankunde, Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), to Uganda Christian University (UCU) to pursue a bachelor of arts in journalism and communication ( BAJC). He is passionate about it and will help him achieve his dream of becoming a voice for the voiceless.

As a result, on March 17, 2023, the Department of University ICT Service (UIS) at Uganda Christian University (UCU), led by Rebecca Kamgabe, the UIS Technical Manager, paid a visit to Bishop Senior Secondary School in Mukono to lend a helping hand by sharing their knowledge of ICT with the students.

After the death of James Kibirige, the father of new Mukono Diocese Bishop Enos Kitto Kagodo, the burden of looking after the family fell on their mother. Ruth Kibirige found herself brewing local beer and selling fish to get money to keep her children in school. Occasionally, Good Samaritans would support Ruth with handouts for the family. At the time, Kagodo was in Primary Five.
