Students at Uganda Christian University have been urged to speak about mental health struggles and look out for and support those who might be struggling with different challenges. This was at an event organised by the Fortress Within club for UCU students.
Members of the Uganda Christian University (UCU) Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme are set to benefit from an interest rate of 12.33% on their savings towards retirement for the financial year ending December 31, 2025. This was announced during the annual general meeting held on June 11, 2026.
Athletes were from various institutions, including UCU, Uganda Police Force (UPF), Uganda Prisons, Luwero Secondary School, and Gombe Secondary School. Some districts including Koboko, Masindi, and Arua City also had participants take part.
The 1-1 draw came after Isaac Ofoyroth scored for UCU Cardinals, while Geoffrey Ssenyonga found the net for Kyaggwe FC. Both goals were scored in the first half.
The training programme is offered free of charge and is aimed at equipping students with practical skills that can help them generate income alongside their academic studies.

The games continue with the aim of producing two finalists to give fans and supporters a repeat of last edition’s final between the School of Law and the Faculty of Agriculture.
Guild President Elomaboni Abraham, however, cautioned against treating the document as final, saying it has not yet been approved.
