The Federation of Uganda’s Football Associations competitions committee has today announced the dates for the prestigious FUFA Women’s Cup 2023/24 semi-final fixtures against the Rines Women Football Cup.

At this point in the competition, there will be two legs instead of the single game that was played in the rounds of 32, 16, and quarterfinals.

On Sunday, June 9, 2024, at UCU Grounds in Mukono, the UCU Lady Cardinals, the first finalists, will take on Rines Women’s Football Club in the first leg of their semi-final match. Nakogolo’s first-half double helped the Lady Cardinals defeat the Lady Doves 2-1 in Masindi. A week later, on Sunday, June 16th, at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso, in the return leg.

Meanwhile, the second-tier She Corporates will be playing Wakiso Hill on Wednesday, June 12th, at St. Mary’s Stadium Kitende. The second fixture will be played on June 19th, the following week, at MUBS Grounds in Nakawa.

She Coporates defeated Kampala Queens 1-0 to advance to the semifinals, and Wakiso Hill defeated Byafayo Queens 1-0 to earn a spot in the semi-final.

It’s important to remember that there won’t be any additional time once the semi-finalists are knotted; instead, teams will compete in penalty shootouts to decide the victor.
